How to change leveling in Job Board dropdowns

This guide helps you manage dropdown options to ensure candidates can easily navigate through your Job Board.

⚙️ Step 1: Navigate to Settings

  • From here, you can manage leveling for:

    • Departments > click on Department filter settings

    • Locations > click on Locations filter settings


🏷️ Step 2: Choose Your Leveling

  • The available levels mirror the structure configured in your ATS

    • Toggle levels on or off to control what appears in the dropdown

    • Use the Preview section to see how the dropdown will appear to candidates

    • Click Save to apply your changes


✅ Step 3: Verify Changes on Your Job Board

  • Navigate to your Job Board

  • Test your dropdowns to verify that the leveling changes made are reflected


💡 Things to Note

  • Department and Location leveling only affects how filters are displayed on your Job Board.

  • Changes made in your ATS may require you to revisit your leveling settings in Puck.

  • Disabling a level removes it from the filter dropdown but does not remove jobs from your Job Board.

  • Removing unnecessary levels creates a simpler job search experience.
