How to Use AI Interview Scorecards

This guide walks you through the process of manually reviewing and scoring your candidate's AI Interview.

Written by Melisa Cooper

💡 Manual vs. Automated Scoring: This scorecard is specifically for human-driven review. While Puck generates an AI Evaluation to give you automated scoring metrics based on the transcript, the scorecard field is where you or your hiring managers add your personal calibration and final ratings.

🏠 Step 1: Navigate to AI Interview candidates

  1. Go to AI Interviews

  2. Select the relevant job from the list

  3. Open a candidate profile

Navigate to your Interview scorecard field in the righthand panel

📝 Step 2: Assign scores

  • Select a star ⭐ rating for interview

    • Stars can be selected in whole or half increments

    • 3 stars and above will automatically assign a Positive score category label

    • 2.5 stars and below will automatically assign a Negative score category label

  • Candidate evaluation status (e.g., Positive)

  • Last updated timestamp and editor

    Click Save

✏️ Step 3: Scorecard Modification

  • Scorecards can be edited at any point

  • Click Edit to modify scorecard and change your star selection

  • Scorecards can be reset by clicking Delete
