Just like most modern ATS platforms, Puck lets you trigger communications automatically upon stage movement. Enrolling candidates into a sequence or sending an AI interview invitation now happens instantly the moment you move a candidate into a designated stage.
🛠️ Method 1: Editing an Existing Job
Navigate to Pipelines: Go to Pipelines in your dashboard and click Edit job. ⚙️
2. Locate Stage Automations: Scroll to the bottom of the page to your target stage and click Attach sequence. 🔗
💡 Note: If you attach a sequence to the Application Review stage, candidates will receive it in addition to the standard automated Candidate Thank You email sent upon applying.
3. Select Sequence or AI Interview 🤖
Sequences: Standard email and SMS outreach templates.
AI Interviews: Assigning an AI interview automatically enrolls candidates into that specific interview's invite sequence.
4. Under the AI Interview tab, note that you'll only see AI Interviews assigned to this specific job.
Click Confirm Selection. ✅
5. From the main job page, click Update at the top right corner to apply your settings. 💾
Method 2: New Job
From Pipelines, click +New Job. From there, scroll to the bottom of the page to find the same instructions as Method 1.
Advance Applicants
Once sequences are attached to stages, you can manually or automatically advance candidates into them.
Select Applicants: From your job dashboard, select the candidates you want to move forward and click Advance.
2. First confirmation
Click to confirm advancing the candidates to the next stage.
3. Second confirmation will ask to enroll candidates into the assigned sequence or AI interview. 📩
⚠️ Note: Candidates will not be enrolled if they have already completed the sequence or if their contact details are missing. You can also manually skip sequence enrollment at this step if needed.
